Herald Alishan Gaba Oolong goes through a unique finishing step after picking where the unfinished tea (maocha) is rested in a nitrogen-flushed environment; this is also known as anaerobic fermentation We’ve found that this method accentuates the natural flavors of the tea, adding a buttery, caramel-like complexity. Our GABA tea is produced using 100% hand-picked, high-mountain oolong from Alishan, Taiwan.
