A tea steeped in storied tradition and excellence, it is grown at Dong Ding Mountain and is crafted by the hands of a tea master couple with over 110 years of combined experience. This is a “true” traditional Dong Ding as opposed to the more modern green-style oolongs that have gained in popularity. The tea bushes are allowed to grow “biodynamically” and are unsprayed. The result is a tea with a rich, deeply sweet broth and darker complexity to the flavors. This is due to the craft of the tea master in applying just the right amount of gentle roast to finish the tea. A true relic, this tea of character must be savored and enjoyed slowly and joyfully!
